Thelma Gray

Born in Jamaica, educated in London, England. Travelled the world, worked in
Corrections in New South Wales, a former member of the Australian Defence Force.

Earnt her degree in Law and Social Science from University of New South Wales and University of Western Sydney, where she also earnt a Master’s degree in Legal Practice.

Thelma was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court in 2004. Thelma started Grays Legal in New South Wales in 2007 where she predominantly practiced in Crime and Family, Grays Legal NT continues to practice in these areas.

Time away from work is spent with her several large dogs – like her dogs, she has a good sense of smell for a viable defence and uses these a skills to hunt down a good defence and outcome for you.

Nyanciew Riek Gai

Nyanciew is a South Sudanese / Australian, Immigrated to Australia in 2002 as a refugee from Kenya. She graduated from Charles Darwin University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2020 and was admitted to as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory and the High Court of Australia in 2021.

Prior to relocating to the Northern Territory from Melbourne in 2010, Nyanciew completed Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice) from Monash University, she has worked in Corrections for approximately 10 years in the Northern Territory and calls the Northern Territory home because of the diversity which makes her passionate about the community and providing clients’ access to justice.
